Hi I’m Kelly!

I’m here for the chaotic newbies and late night planners.

If you’ve never stumbled across me before, allow me to introduce myself…

I’m an English, geography, and social science teacher at a virtual high school in small town Ontario that serves students all over the province and country! I sell my teaching resources online to make planning and prep a simple step in the process for others. Through additional resources and advice, I support new and seasoned teachers as they navigate caring for themselves and their classroom. And I’m so happy you found me!

“Stop trying to calm the storm. Calm yourself. The storm will pass.”

#TeacherCare

We often hear that we
“can’t pour from an empty cup”.

And that is absolutely true. There is no good reason we should expect anyone to do their jobs at 100% when they themselves are not 100%. And yet, we expect it from teachers all the time. You likely know what I’m talking about. Whether it’s the development of healthy habits, setting firm boundaries, or lightening the marking load, you can likely agree that something has got to give. Let me be the person to tell you that when you suffer, your students suffer. This might not be news to you. So ask yourself, why are you working yourself into oblivion? Let’s chat #TeacherCare.
